Jared McKinstry

Jared is a Lead Client Services Associate at PlanPILOT, where he supports retirement plan sponsors in strengthening their fiduciary practices and delivering positive outcomes for plan participants. With a background spanning financial services, education, and leadership, he brings a client-focused approach to helping plan sponsors navigate the complexities of their retirement plans.

Prior to joining PlanPILOT, Jared worked as a Financial Services Professional, where he helped families and organizations better understand their financial options through planning, education, and ongoing support. Before entering financial services, Jared spent eight years in China, where he served as a Director of Studies in private education, leading academic operations, training and developing educators, and helping improve programs and processes.

Jared earned his Master of Science in Management from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and holds the Financial Services Certified Professional (FSCP®) and Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designations.

Outside of work, Jared enjoys traveling, sports, and spending time with his family.
