Adam Polacek, CFA

Adam Polacek is a Senior Consultant at PlanPILOT with 25 years of experience helping institutions make smarter investment decisions and build better retirement plans. He advises clients on investment oversight, plan governance, retirement income solutions, and overall plan design – always aiming to simplify the complex and deliver better outcomes for participants.

Before joining PlanPILOT, Adam spent 20+ years at TIAA and Nuveen, where he held senior roles including leading the Institutional Investment Strategy Team. There, he led national efforts to boost retirement readiness and helped a wide range of plan sponsors—from universities and K-12, to government institutions and health care providers —navigate the ever-evolving retirement landscape.

Adam earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Finance from Illinois State University. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Chicago. Adam enjoys traveling with his family, staying active, and digging in the garden during the summer months.
